Which is More Important: Hard Work or Luck? In life, we often hear people say “luck is everything”. However, this is quite controversial as some argue that hard work is the key to success. In my opinion, hard work is more important than luck. Luck may bring you success, but hard work ensures it. When we work hard, we put in the effort and the dedication required to accomplish our goals. We become more skilled and knowledgeable in our field and it becomes easier for us to achieve our objectives. On the other hand, relying solely on luck can be a big gamble. Even if you are lucky enough to have success, it is hard to sustain it without putting in the hard work and dedication. It is also important to note that hard work is within our control, whereas luck is not. We can always choose to work harder, learn new skills or gain knowledge. However, we cannot control our luck. We can’t predict what will happen in the future, but we can put ourselves in a position to succeed by working hard. Additionally, hard work brings a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment that luck cannot provide. When we work hard to achieve our goals, we learn valuable lessons from our experiences. We develop a sense of pride and accomplishment that is very satisfying. On the other hand, relying on luck does not give us the same sense of achievement and personal growth. In conclusion, while luck can bring success in life, hard work is undoubtedly more important. Hard work not only brings success, but it also helps us to become better versions of ourselves. Luck is not within our control, but our efforts are. Therefore, we should strive to work hard and put in the effort required to achieve our goals. Luck can always be an added bonus, but hard work will always take us to where we want to go.
